Dirt Bike Season/Race 9/Boligee

This race was a stark contrast from the last race!  The weather was gorgeous!  We even got a little sun burn!!  Hello sunshine, where have you been?  This was Landon's best race ever.  I turned into a crazy dirt biking mom!  I was screaming him on to the finish line.  He was going so fast and had so much control of the bike.  He looked like such a big boy out there.  He came in 2nd place!
Laurel did great also.  She is getting faster and more comfortable every time she races.  She is still trying to figure out if she wants to keep racing or let it go.  She came in 4th place!
Sawyer makes me laugh so hard!  He lines up all by himself and watches for that green flag to drop and then he always pops a wheelie before he takes off!
Poor Seth had the worse race he has ever had, as long as I've known him.  He had changed out the clutch on his dirt bike the day before and it just gave him fits during the race.  He got 7th place.  To be honest with you, we are so use to seeing him on the podium, it was a little weird!  He was very disappointed but I'm sure he will back the next race!
It was a great day with family!  Papa came with Uncle Roger.  Aunt Jamie, Uncle Kimball and Luke came and they brought Uncle Karsten with them!  He had just flown in the night before from Colorado so it was so much fun having him there.  We watched the start and then we would walk quite a distance to watch them come through the woods.  The boys played with sticks and leaves and had the best time.

Sawyer was copying the way Uncle Kimball was standing.

Seth always amazes me when these bikes take off!  He usually gets a great start!

Uncle Roger came in 1st, again!  He is on Fire!

 The End.

Dirt Bike Season/Race 8/ Gardendale

It was a muddy, cold day, but we all endured.  I actually like this race location.  The track has an awesome hill that you can stand on and watch the dirt bikers come up.  Landon and Laurel did really well.  I was so proud of them for finishing the race.  It was a muddy mess!  They both got stuck in the same mud hole at the same time.  I wish I could have heard their conversations with each other.
Sawyer did great in his strider race.  He is so focused and so fun to watch.

Uncle Roger came in first place, again!!

We were all happy to say goodbye to this muddy mess!
