Landon is an Indian

Landon had his first preschool performance at his preschool last week.  He did so good!  I could pick out his sweet little voice singing all of the songs.  After the program, I got to go to his classroom and see all of the Thanksgiving artwork he had done.  He was so proud!

Savannah was home from school, getting over a cold, so she got to go too!

Savannah Turns 9

Our sweet Savannah is growing up!  I can't believe she is 9 years old.  When I asked her what she wanted for her birthday, she said, "I just want one on one time with you or dad!"  Then a week before her birthday, Seth was out of town and I was having a rough night with the boys.  She came to me and said, "I have decided who I want one on one time with."  "I think you need a night out!"
She is the sweetest thing ever and brings such a calmness to our home.  I love her to pieces and was so happy to spend a night with her!  We went shopping and then to the movies and then shopping some more.
Savannah has always been the best shopper ever!

Her birthday was on a Monday.  I surprised her Monday morning with her favorite, blueberry muffins.  The boys and I also surprised her for  lunch time at school.  Sawyer ran up to her and screamed, "Suprise! Happy bithday, Girl!"  Her face turned bright red!  That night we had pancakes, her favorite dinner.  After dinner, I took her to her clogging class.  I told Laurel to decorate for a birthday party.  When we walked in the door, they were all standing there and sang Happy Birthday to her.  Laurel had it decorated so cute!

My heart melted when I saw that Laurel had included this picture in her decorations.  They are so sweet to each other.  I hope they will always be close.

I think she had a little help from her daddy with this.  I'll say, the girl has some party planning skills.

Poor Savannah!  Half the cake was devoured, when Laurel said, "we didn't even sing to her and let her blow out the candles!"  We put candles in the other half of the cake and let her blow them out!

Chelsea Hornet

Laurel loved being a 5th grade cheerleader!  The season came to an end a few weeks ago and she was really sad.  Who knew this reserved little girl could scream and shout, "Go HoRneTs!
We really loved watching her shine.
I didn't get tons of pictures from the season, but here are a few.

Laurel with her sweet friend, Taylor.  They went on this cheering journey together.  It was so fun to watch them progress throughout the year.

Laurel is on the back row, first on the left.  She cheered with a lot of sweet girls and made some new friends.

Savannah took this picture of Laurel in the front yard.  We missed the Saturday that they were taking individual pictures.

I went into their room to tuck them in and they were just like this, reading their scriptures.  This melted my heart.
