We spent a couple of days in Montgomery visiting Seth's family. It was so much fun being around all of his siblings and all the cousins. I regret not taking more pictures.

Uncle Galen was such a good sport and played with all the kids in the pool.

I loved how Laurel was just sitting here carrying on a conversation with her great aunt, Inez.

For months, Laurel kept telling me that she wanted her hair to look like mine. I thought that was very sweet. I kept telling her, I had always wanted my hair like hers, all one length. When I made my hair appointment, I made one for her also. She would be turning 11 soon, and I thought it would be a special treat for her to go to the salon with me. I love my hair stylist, Lyndsey. She has become a really good friend and I knew she would give Laurel the royal treatment. Laurel felt like such a big girl and it was a fun mommy, Laurel date!

While You Were Sleeping

We are all pretty much in love with the caboose of this family. He has the funniest, most demanding personality and we all just cater to him. Every.last.one.of.us. He has us all wrapped. Landon will say quite often, "Sawya, you just so cute. I could just gobble you up!" Laurel and Savannah fight over who will be his pretend mommy. We are so blessed to have him. Laurel was playing with the settings on the camera one afternoon and took these adorable pictures.

Beach with the boys

This was the shortest summer we have ever had, but boy did we pack it in!! I was fortunate enough to get to take another trip to the beach. This time I took the boys with my friend, Tricia and one of her sons, Evan. We went to Destin and wow, these beaches are beautiful! While the boys and I were at the beach, the girls traveled with Seth for work. He sent these pictures throughout the week:
