Fourth of July

In the past we have always stayed home and watched the firework show from our deck!  We love that we could just take blankets out there and not have to fight the crowd.  But this year, the Tumlin's invited us to go with them.  We met them at a cute little general store and put a blanket in the back of the truck and watched the firework show.  It was a lot better show than what we have seen from our deck.  The kids loved it!  Of course, this was the right time to venture out closer to the fireworks because the boys are older and didn't take off running at the first loud boom!

Even with all the crazy that is going on in the world today, I am grateful to live in this country.  I am so grateful for our freedoms and for those who have fought for us to keep those freedoms.

Four Parables

A few weeks ago, the children at our church went to a summer camp for 3 days.  They did crafts and played games and they were divided up into 4 groups where they practiced for a performance that was going to be held on that third night.  They acted out four of the parables from the New Testament.

Father's Day

Landon Turns Six!!

I can't believe it has been six years since they placed this precious boy in my arms.  I was in love immediately.  He has grown into the funniest, most charming little boy.  He is so affectionate and still wants me to rock him every single night.

He had a monster truck birthday party!

All Landon asked for was a wubble bubble and a juggle bubble!  He had seen both of these advertise on T.V.  He got both and he was so excited!  The wubble bubble lasted about 10 minutes before it popped.  It took forever for us to figure out how to make the juggle bubble work.  I sure did get some cute pictures of them giving it their all!

He got some money from granny and papa.  We walked up and down the aisle of the toy section.  He finally spotted this:

This is how he puts it away every night

He said, "That's it!  Goodbye, Spider Man!  Hello, Iron Man!"
