December 2015/Clayton Family Reunion

All of Seth's siblings were here right before Christmas.  We kicked the reunion off by meeting up at the dirt bike race, even granny came.  Papa was in heaven that day.  He was so excited to have us all there.  My kids had lots of cousins to play with!  The weather was gorgeous and there was lots of dirt, which makes for very happy kids!  There were first and second place trophies given out!  The only bummer was Landon's bike had a malfunction and he wasn't able to race.  This was the last race of the season.

Sawyer is so small compared to the other boys!  He amazes me how he just turned four in October, but can race for 25 minutes and he doesn't have many tip overs!

Savannah is usually so prissy at these dirt bike races.  She always comes home cleaner than the rest of us.  She decided to live on the WILD side and take her shoes off!

Seth got First!!

December 2015/Honey turns 75!

Seth's mom turned 75 this December, and we had a birthday party for her at our house. Jamie and I made soup.  We ate, sang Happy Birthday, watched football and the men/boys had a push up contest!

Laurel played Happy Birthday to her on her flute!  I was really proud of Laurel.  She looked up the notes for the song and practiced and practiced.  She did great.  This makes me so happy, because I pretty much forced Laurel to take band.  She hated it the first few weeks, but now she loves it!  She thanks me all the time for making her take!

We never knew that Landon could do a perfect push up in plank position.  I was amazed at how many he could do.  He complained about his stomach hurting for days after!  His little muscles were so sore!

December 2015/Nativity

Seth, Landon, and Sawyer were asked to be shephards in the live Nativity, at our church Christmas Dinner.   This year the dinner was done a little different.  We all received an invitation, and we were told to dress in biblical times and bring one canned food per person to be able to enter.  The cultural hall was transformed into Bethlehem.  We all sat on the floor and ate, then we watched and listened to the Christmas story play out.  It was such a great way to start the Christmas Season.  Dana, Ava and Lily came with us!
