Fall Festival 2013

 I took Laurel and Savannah to their school Fall Festival.  This is a fundraiser for the school with lots of games and rides and music blaring.  Fun times!  Laurel and Savannah met up with Ava and Lily and two other friends, Lexie and Taylor.  Laurel also sang with the school choir.  They gave us a preview of the Christmas program they will be performing soon.  They had a blast and we closed it down!

There is a sweet little story about these four.  Ava and Laurel have been friends since they were three but they have never ended up in the same class at school.  Ava is standing between Lexi and Taylor and these three  have ended up in the same class for several years and were really good friends but Laurel never really knew either one of them.  When we found out that Ava was not going to be at the same school with Laurel, Dana said that she really hoped that Laurel would get in the same class with Lexi and Taylor because they were really sweet girls.  Well, guess what?  That is exactly what happened and now Laurel has become really good friends with them too!

 

Savannah can really surprise me sometimes!  She is always so calm and quiet, especially in public.  I had to help clean up one of the class booths and as I was cleaning up, I looked over and saw Savannah chasing this boy around having a sword fight with balloons!  I love it when she breaks out of that shell and acts CRAZY!
