This is the home that my grandfather, James Thomas Reaves grew up in.
I have the best memories from childhood being at this house with all of my dad's relatives. They would sit out under these huge pecan trees and talk and laugh and argue over politics and religion. All of us kids would be running through the wide open grassy fields and we would play house inside this beautiful, southern home with our cousins. It was great to come back here with my own children and watch them do the same.
I love these huge trees. I have so many memories of coming down here with my grandmother, who lived a few fields over from here, and picking up pecans. There were thousands of them.
This is a picture of Mom and dad with Audra and her family, me and my family. Dad's Sister, Aunt Jean and Uncle Marvin with 4 out of 5 of their children, with all of their children. Did you get that? Lot's of Aunts and uncles and cousins!
