My mommy thinks I might have turned a corner this past week. You see, I'm not as whiny and clingy. I seem to be laughing a lot more and maybe even playing a little more by myself.
I don't know why they think that gate will keep me from climbing stairs! If I am really quiet and sneaky, I can climb pretty far before someone finds me.
I really like to play with cords. I like to drag these things all over the house. But, when mommy starts to plug one of these in, I am out of there! The loud noise really scares me. I don't know how daddy will ever get me on a dirtbike.
I also like putting things over my head. Even plastic bags. Mommy keeps saying something about it being dangerous, but I do it anyway. I like to put it over my head and spin around until I am really dizzy! Don't worry, mommy is never far away.
Do you know my mommy loves me so much! She is always hugging and kissing all over me! If my hair looks funny, that's because mommy and daddy (I really think it was more daddy) got a bright idea to let mommy cut my hair. You know she cuts my daddy's hair, so they thought I would let her cut my hair. I don't like sharp objects coming towards my eye. I don't like clippers that sound like bumble bees either. So, mommy did an awful job! One side is a lot shorter than the other. But daddy said I still have a cute face!
I really love taking a bath! I know, mommy told me I would love my bath one day. I didn't like it so much when I was younger. I like playing in water so much that sometimes I can't wait for someone to take off my clothes. I know how to get in the tub and turn on the water all by myself. I almost made my sister late for school though.
I am also saying some words. My favorite is "here oo go." I am even saying my sister Laurel's name. My parents sure gave me some tough names to say. It sounds like this, "wawa." I'm still working on the other sister's name. I walk around saying, "E-I-E-I-O." I even said, "Yee-ha" at the end of a song. I put my hands to the side of my face and say, "nigh, nigh." I love it when my mommy rocks me and sometimes I hum with the music. I have a pretty good life around here and can't wait for you to come and visit me. I am growing up really fast!
Love,
Landon
