I got to go with Savannah on a field trip to Samford University to see the musical, The Cat in the Hat! I love it when I get chosen to go on a field trip that I'm just as excited about as Savannah is. I could not wait. I love Dr. Suess' books and the musical was great.
I got to ride the bus-Joy, Joy! I couldn't help but snap this picture of sweet Savannah on our way to the University. She fell asleep and slept the whole way there. She looked so peaceful.
We had a while to wait while the auditorium was being packed with people. So what do you do to entertain a bunch of first graders? Why, take silly pictures! {I'm loving the blonde chicks eyes.}
Savannah said, "mommy, you look like a frog!" I think she is right.
I love Savannah's class. They are all so sweet to each other. I wish I could have taken pictures during the musical but that wasn't allowed. Anyway, it was great and left you with a good, uplifted feeling.
