A party at the horse stables!

After I had Laurel, I met our neighbor, LeArden, who lived two doors down.  She had just had a baby girl, Emma Grace.  LeArden and I became quick friends!  We met every morning and went walking around the neighborhood.  We would meet at each other's house on most afternoons for playdates, with our little girls.  We always tell Laurel and Emma Grace that they were each other's first friend.  So, through the years and moves, LeArden and I have remained close and so have the girls.  We added another girl to our family, Savannah and they added another girl, Mary Lasly, so playdates are still lots of fun.  Emma Grace turned 10 and had her birthday party was at a horse stable, where she takes riding lessons.  Laurel and Savannah had so much fun!

 They separated into teams and they had to do things to the horse before they could ride.  They had to brush the horse, and saddle the horse.

 The birthday crew!  Laurel and Savannah didn't know any of Emma Grace's friends because we live across town from each other now, but Emma Grace was so sweet.  Every time she introduced Laurel, she would say, "Laurel was my first friend!"

 Mary Lasly!  I could take this little girl home with me!  She is so stinkin' cute!
