I try to find something for the boys to do so I can get something, anything done in the house! I put them on the deck with two pans of water and told them to dive their dolphins and trucks in the water. I gave them some cups to fill. My vision: Two little boys calmly playing in the pan of water with the things provided.

I will admit, their vision looks a lot more fun. They stripped down and of course wanted a, "hot, hot shower!" These boys love getting messy but love taking a shower even more!
Fast forward two hours: I'm determined to get something done in this house! They wanted to play in water again. "No! We have had enough water for one day!"
I put them back out on the deck, with pans of rice and trucks.
They loved this! I did end up with rice all over the deck but that was such an easy clean up! And it was outside. And I did get something accomplished that day!
