On Labor Day Eve, we had the missionaries over for dinner. Laurel and Savannah also had Lily and Ava over for a slumber party. Laurel spent so much time organizing games for them to play. We have found that slumber parties go so much better if there is plenty to do.
Before they headed upstairs, we had a quick family home evening with the missionaries. Lily volunteered to dress up in the armor. They gave a quick lesson: If we put on the armor of God everyday, (saying our prayers, reading the scriptures, going to church, obeying our parents, etc...) We will be able to fight off the "worldly" things that are thrown our way.
