Dirt Bike Season/Race 6/Minooka Park

Apparently, you can choose to work one race a season, instead of racing the race.  Seth and every other guy we watch race, chose to work this one!  Seth said it was his least favorite place to race.  Granny and Papa came to watch the children race.  It was so sweet of them to get up that early.  It really means a lot to the children, probably more than they even realize.  The plan was for me to drive separately, so I could leave with the kids after their race.  After they raced, we decided that the day was too beautiful to go home.  Seth took us to this really steep hill and we were the only ones there for about 30 minutes.  It was so peaceful and of course, I took lots of pictures.  The kids were in such "posing for the camera," moods!  We even took our first family selfie!  I am in love with Sawyer's lip photos!  Just wait, you will see what I mean! :) And you will be in love too!
Then all of a sudden lots of people started making their way to the hill and the dirt bikes started coming.  It was lots of fun to be that close to all the action.  Seth had to help a few dirt bikers get out of some difficult situations.  One guy got stuck half way up the hill. He asked Seth if he would ride his bike back down and up the hill.  The racer was out of steam!  Seth put his helmet on and got the racer's bike up to the top of the hill.  That was fun for the kids to see!  They were yelling, "go daddy!"

I will have to say, this was a really fun day!  We were in the woods watching, with Seth!  I'm glad he worked it instead of racing.

Sawyer was saying, "Mommy move back, cause I'm going to kick up dirt!"

Sawyer got 3rd place!

The End...
