Football/Friends

Watching football is one of my favorite things to do!  My family and I have had so much fun watching some Virginia Football this season.  My best friend from high school/college years and Wayne's best friend from High School got married and had the cutest little boy ever, Greyson.  Why, you may have heard his name being announced over the loud speakers as, Greyson Lambert, the quarterback for the Virginia Cavaliers.
They played BYU this season and I had so much fun watching him and pulling for the Cavaliers!  I normally would pull for BYU, but this time I was pulling for Greyson.  It was hard to imagine this handsome, over six foot tall football player, once being the little boy I babysat when we were in college.  Melony and Drexal have done a great job raising him!  I messaged Melony during the game and told her that we were rooting for him.  After the game, she sent me these pictures.

Drexal and Greyson with my brother, Wayne and his son, Tyson.  Wayne got tickets for him and Tyson and they ended up sitting with Drexal during the game.

It's so much fun watching football, but even more fun when you personally know someone!

I turned on the BYU/Virginia game and on the first opening drive, Greyson ran the football down the field and almost made a touchdown.  I was jumping up and down, screaming, "Go Greyson, Go Greyson, Go!"  Laurel and Savannah looked at me, like I was crazy and said, "ummm.... who is Greyson and aren't we for BYU!?"  I said, "not today girls, we are for Virginia!"
I explained to them who Greyson was and then they thought it was so cool that I knew someone on T.V.
By the way, BYU won.
