Landon's First Day Of PreShcool

I quietly walked out of my bedroom at 6 am.  As I was closing the doors to the children's rooms, I heard Landon whispering to Sawyer, "Sawya, you going to miss me today?"  "It's my first day of preschool!"  Sawyer was whispering back, "I'm going to miss you andon!"

He came running to the kitchen, very excited!  He was so excited that his backpack was laid out beside his sister's.  I took him to his room to get him dressed.  As I was helping him with his clothes, he said, "mommy, my tummy hurts.  I'm nervous.  I don't want to go to school."  I said, "let's say a prayer."  So we said a prayer that he would have a good day and make friends, and that he wouldn't be scared.  That seemed to work.
We took the girls to school and as soon as they got out of the car, he started saying, "I'm nervous, mommy!"  He asked me if we could say another prayer.  So we did.  We stopped by the grocery store and got a few items.  On the way to his school, he said, "mommy, those prayers are not working!  My tummy still hurts and I'm nervous!"  So I said another one!  We pulled up to his school.  He unbuckled and leaned his head on my shoulder and said, "mommy, can you say another prayer?"  I started praying.  Two sentences into the prayer, he stopped me and said, "okay, I'm good!  Let's go!"  I busted out laughing!  I love this boy!  I feel like it has taken me forever to figure out how to be a boy's mom and I love it!  I love all the adventure that comes with this little boy.  There is never a dull moment, for sure!

2nd day
Update:  Landon has been in school for 3 weeks now.  He loves it and has already learned so much!  Sawyer misses him like crazy, the 4 hours he is away.  Landon asked me after the first week, "can Piper come over and watch me jump my ramp?"  I'm afraid he is going to be one, handsome ladies man.  He also showed me how he would pat his face and make funny faces so the girls would laugh. I love hearing him tell me about his day.
