School was for only two days that first week, thank goodness! Laurel's birthday was that Friday, so we got together with Ava and Lily and had an ice cream party to celebrate. I can't believe this sweet girl is 11 years old! She is growing up and I am, slowly but surely, trying to let go of some control. Laurel loves to help with her siblings. She is the best hair dresser in the house. She loves to decorate the house. Her favorite subject is History. Her favorite book series is I Survived.....
She tries to be a good friend to everyone and is finally figuring out how to handle silly, girl drama. She rides dirt bikes. She cheers for the school's 5th grade football team. She takes a contemporary dance class. She takes piano lessons. She loves to talk and I hope she keeps on talking!
