I have always had the kitchen table decorated in Valentine decor for breakfast.
Well, this Valentines I just wasn't on my game. Seth had been out of town all week and I was running on fumes. I honestly didn't think about it. I had even bought a pink, chocolate chip pancake mix that I forgot all about. I had bought them each a little gift and totally spaced it.
That morning they came in and Laurel and Savannah didn't say anything but you could tell they were disappointed.
That night I made up for it. I cooked dinner and they decorated the table. They told me that they thought I had forgotten about Valentines Day. So traditions really do matter to my girls. I love that it does!
